Experience and Reach
The business began in 1985, delivering new equipment for New England Telephone in Maine. This engagement led to removing Step by Step switches, IAESS and old batteries throughout New England. The business expanded its reach to the remainder of the continental USA, doing hundreds of removals for American Tower, Centurylink, Mid Maine Telecom, Otelco, Unitel, Sprint / Nextel and TDS.
The business expanded into Central America in 1995, removing hundreds of Pentaconta, Ericsson and Hitachi Crossbar switches throughout Colombia, Venezuela, Peru and Ecuador.
In 2002, the business obtained a contract with American Tower to remove equipment and batteries from several hundred former AT&T Long Line sites in the eastern USA. For the past ten years, we have been focused on removal of Nortel DMS, Lucent 5E, Siemens EWSD, DCO and associated transport and power equipment for Otelco, Zayo, Integra and Allstream (among others).
